Alex Ansley
Alex Ansley is NHTSA’s Chief of Recall Management and has been with NHTSA since 2007. Alex manages NHTSA’s Safety Recall program, which oversees over 1,000 automotive recalls each year. Alex has led both NHTSA’s Recall Management and Strategic Planning Divisions and has contributed to many major milestones, including the design and launch of NHTSA’s Recall VIN Lookup tool serving over one million VIN searches each week, the creation of NHTSA’s first interactive dashboard for recall data, and work on the Cash for Clunkers program which processed over $2.85 billion in payments to U.S. auto dealerships. Previously, Alex worked for Nissan North America and Bridgestone Americas.
