Carol Mastroianni

Carol is on a mission to make life easier for parents and to guide young people to BE their best selves. As the founder and empowerment coach of BE Your Influence™, she is dedicated to equipping parents, grandparents, educators, and all caring adults with the tools, mindset, and confidence to truly show up for the young people in their lives. Carol understands that supporting youth in today’s complex world requires more than guidance—it requires adults to first BE their own influence by cultivating self-awareness, resilience, and a strong foundation of self-care.

Having walked this path herself, Carol brings a unique depth of experience to her work. She raised her younger sister through high school and college and later raised her boy/girl twins, who graduated college in 2020—all without parents of her own since the age of 19. Through these experiences, Carol learned what works, what doesn’t, and how to navigate the joys and challenges of parenting with grace and courage.

With over 16 years of experience in the youth-focused substance abuse prevention and mental wellness field, Carol has helped thousands of parents, tweens, teens, and young adults. She’s certified in the Strengthening Families Program, Covey 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, suicide prevention, and is a Reiki Master, among other credentials.

Through BE Your Influence™, Carol empowers parents to BE the influence their children need by building from the inside out—developing emotional resilience, self-awareness, and the ability to make positive choices that align with their values. By supporting parents in this way, she helps them become powerful, positive role models and champions for the young people they care about.

Carol is truly honored to guide parents on this journey—a rewarding, messy, and transformative experience. She believes that by filling their own emotional and mental gaps, adults can create lasting, meaningful connections with their children and inspire them to reach their full potential.
