Juliann Ng
Juliann has spent over 20 years at global and local market research agencies selling, designing and executing research, leading teams, managing clients and building growth strategies. True to reinvention, during the COVID pandemic, she ventured into freelancing to pursue new skills, interest areas, and a different type of creativity in her work. She currently holds fractional roles as the Executive Vice President of Strategy & Development at element54, a full service market research agency, and as a CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) researcher at Conversion Rate Experts, an international consultancy that scientifically optimizes the profitability of online businesses. Rounding out the rest of her professional time, she also helps small businesses with website design, ghost writing, and social media marketing. Juliann believes in continuous learning and being part of the sandwich generation, she's a strong advocate for smart time management as the key to being able to manage a more than full-time career, kids, a dog, aging parents, regular exercise, cooking most days, reading daily, and pursuing passion projects (such as self-publishing a young adult sci-fi fiction novel and writing a screenplay) and volunteer activities.
She holds an MBA from McGill university, is a regular conference/webinar presenter and guest lecturer at local colleges and universities on topics related to marketing research and how to package content for presentations. As the retail spokesperson while at GfK (a global market research firm), Juliann has been interviewed on TV and the radio about shopper attitudes and behaviours.
